DJ Bronzai (aka Jon Mooneyham)
Jon has been a mainstay in the metro area for more than 20 years. From his own bands Melodious Thunk, Three Ring Carcass, and others (including a brief stint as guitarist in the Flaming Lips)... to his years of work as a DJ consistently playing incredible music... Jon has consistently provided a breath of fresh air to the scene. This is the guy that booked Sonic Youth's first gig in our state, way back in the early 80's - so you know he can find and deliver quality.

Mandragora
http://www.mandragora-music.com/
Mandragora are a relatively new band in Norman, and on the rise for good reasons. This 5 piece combines drum, bass, dual guitars, and computer keyboards to create an edgy, thick, and appealing modern rock sound. Mandragora say they have "special antics" planned for the show, but won't say what they are. Anyone wanting to find out had better get to the Legion Hall early, where they kick the evening off at right around 10pm.

Maroon
http://maroon.freeservers.com/
From Monroe, Louisiana this 4-some has released 3 recordings since forming in 1998, the latest being "Born Telekinetic". Their sound is defined with dynamic hooks, solid rhythms, psychedelic moments, and reflective lyrics. They are currently touring the midwest and southern states. To quote Maroon... "Maroon is rock". The band will take the stage second on the evening.

Traindodge
http://www.traindodge.com/
Formed in 1996 in Oklahoma City, Traindodge has helped to define and refine the Midwestern math-rock genre as it has emerged. On wax, they've kicked out 7 full or split recordings in just under 7 years, with the most recent being the 2002 release "On a lake of dead trees" (no karma, ascetic records). Top shelf musicianship and solid writing have always held Traindodge as one of the tightest and tastiest rock outfits you'll find, and the addition of Carl Amburn to the lineup in mid 2002 has noticeably expanded the coloring and aesthetics to the already well established foundation. Traindodge is currently writing material for their 8th offering later this year, and will be touring the West coast in May.

Forty Minutes of Hell
http://www.fortyminutesofhell.com/
Cheerfully serving the rock worldwide for two millenium and counting, Forty Minutes of Hell will close the blue fish evening with a late night homage to sonic anti-pop. Says bassist Andrew Kershen, "If you think it's fun to toss a rock through a perfectly good window... you should have a pleasant time at a forty minutes show." To follow up a full length CD in 2001, and an EP offering in 2002, FMOH has begun writing and recording new tracks for an undated release later this year.

Scott says "Hi" to his daughter.
Sweetest thing I've ever seen.
That's blue fish people for ya.
